Abstract

Poly ethyl methacrylate (PEMA) films doped with various concentrations of a mixed filler (CoCl2 and LiBr) were prepared by using the casting method and their morphological, thermal and electrical properties were investigated. Scanning electron microscopy showed partial compatibility between the PEMA and the mixed filler. Differential scanning calorimetry was shown to increase their thermal stability with an increase in the concentration of the mixed filler in the films. The electrical properties were investigated using DC electrical conductivity (σ), which showed an improvement in electrical conductivity after addition of the mixed filler.
