The effect of NaPO3, NaH2PO4, Na2HPO4 and K2Cr2O7 as acids and Na2O2, KOH and K2CO3 as bases on the corrosion behaviour of nickel in (Na, K)NO3 melts has been examined at a temperature of 400°C. Weight-gain, potential-time and anodic polarization measurements were employed.
