Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of acupoint massage therapy on the insomnia of patients with therapeutic ERCP(Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography).Methods Totals of 124 cases were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,with 62 cases in each groups.Control group received routine nursing care,while experimental group received acupoint massage therapy and routine care.Observed changes of physiological indexes in each group patients,and assessed therapeutic effect using Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and Seff-Rating Scale of Sleep(SRSS).Results After intervention,the heart rate (HR),nausea in experimental group were significantly improved than that of before intervention (P < 0.01),and the score of PSQI (30.10 ± 5.82),SAS (5.02 ± 3.41),SRSS (21.99 ± 3.05)were significantly lower than that of before intervention and control group (P < 0.01).The therapy effect in experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group (effective rate 83.9% vs 58.1% ;Z =-2.023,P < 0.05).Conclusions Acupoint massage therapy can improve patients ' anxiety,and improve sleeping process and quality.
