Abstract
Abstract The effect of a transverse magnetic field on. the maximum time duration of the output light pulse in InAs junction lasers operated with a flat-topped current pulse at 77deg;K under adiabatic conditions of junction heating is studied. It is found that the maximum time duration of the output pulse increases with increasing values of the magnetic field and ultimately reaches saturation at abnormally large values of the magnetic field.
