Abstract

Ten 3-substituted D-glucose and D-allose derivatives were tested for their ability to inhibit growth of Botrytis cinerea. The results obtained indicate the importance of oxygen at position 3 for inhibitory activity. 3-Fluoro-3-deoxy-D-glucose was the most inhibitory analogue.
