Abstract

Objective To explore the effect amd nursing of integrative treatment of traumatic spinal cord injury and paraplegia. Methods Traumatic spinal cord injury and paraplegia in 98 cases of patients with spinal canal decompression and internal fixation and postoperative defibrase, patients were treated with traditional Chinese medicine to strengthen the position care, psychological care, complications prevention and care interventions such as early exercise, before and after treatment of patients with Barthel index activities of daily living (ADL) ability assessment. Results 98 cases after treatment of patients with Barthel index scores were significantly higher than before treatment ( P < 0. 05). Conclusions Traumatic spinal cord injury and paraplegia were treated with spinal decompression and internal fixation and postoperative defibrase, traditional Chinese medicine at the same time, give timely and correct nursing interventions can improve the cure rate and reduce complications and improve life quality.
