Abstract

Compressed sensing (CS) technique in seismic acquisition has seen good performances in the recent years, and nonuniform sampling geometry design based on the sensing matrix coherency μ is a popular method during this course. Different from conventional way of data reconstruction, in order to achieve better seismic imaging through nonuniform sampling, the effect of μ on seismic data migration imaging is analyzed. The results show that μ can be used to evaluate the quality of data imaging, but influenced by some factors, e.g. point quantity, iteration number, etc. In addition, these analysis results indicate that, under the same sampling density, μ nonuniform sampling is better than uniform sampling in imaging quality. However, μ size is not in corresponding relation with the imaging quality simply, and μ calculation parameters should be under the consideration.
