Abstract

This study aims to obtain a concrete picture of the effectiveness of the application of the principleof teacher communication in character building of students in grade ten secondary school vocationalfield Namira. The process of communication in education is not only understood as a process ofknowledge transfer is one-way, however, there must be a genuine effort on the part of educators /teachers, as a communicator, to be able to provide good role models. Not in spite of the role of parentsas the first and primary educators of their children. Factors teachers and parents failure in theeducational process, among other things, due to the failure to establish communication with the child.Qualitative research methods trying to understand a phenomenon as understanding respondentssurveyed, with emphasis on the subjective aspects of a person's behavior. Qualitative research providesan opportunity to researchers to understand how respondents describe the world around them by way oftheir thinking patterns. Researchers tried to enter into the world of conceptual subject under study tocapture what and how something happened Applying the principles of Islam into a teacher's choice ofcommunication and will not be contrary to the purpose of learning. Principles of Islamic communicationbecomes effective choice in learning activities, students more easily understand the material presentedby the teacher. Principles of Islamic communication adopted by vocational teachers in berlahan Namiracommunication form the character of students, because the students will mimic how communicationsare implemented by teachers, although initially for students is a necessity but it berlahan will shape thecharacter of student communication.Application of communication principles of Islam teachers in coaching students in grade twelvecharacter communication, application of the school environment has a significant result when theapplication has been started since the student entered as a freshman, then gradually the character ofcommunication leads to communication students formed Islam is speaking politely, with weak soft, clearand easily understood by teachers, peers in the school environment.
