Abstract

The present study presents the results of a study that sought to identify the teachers&39; perception about the effects of the Bolsa Familia Program (PBF) on the school performance of beneficiary children. For this purpose, data from a field survey conducted with the teachers of the Sunflower State School of Integral Time, located in the municipality of Combinado, southeast region of Tocantins. To achieve the research, semi-structured questionnaires were used, composed of 15 questions, most of which were closed. The research was based on qualitative-quantitative principles and was attended by 15 participants. The study pointed out that PBF interferes positively in the students &39;school performance and that the students&39; attendance, which is a requirement for permanence in the program, improves their educational abilities.
