Abstract
Effectiveness evaluation of the “Comprehensive Family and Community Care Model” implemented at Primary Care Heatlh Care level in Chile has not been a priority for public policy. However, studies that address criteria related to this area reveal important improvements in user satisfaction, reduction in avoidable hospitalizations and health spenditures, as well.
