Abstract

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has designated three hereditary conditions – Lynch syndrome (LS), Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Syndrome (HBOC), and Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) - as Tier 1 genomic conditions due to the significant potential for public health impact, but the cost-effectiveness of screening the US population for all three conditions simultaneously is unknown.
