Abstract
Cost-effectiveness analyses (CEA) are important in healthcare decision-making and resource allocation for assessing costs and benefits of new treatments in terms of clinical efficiency. Expanding value elements, such as health equity, for new technologies in traditional CEAs has attracted interest. This study synthesized evidence on how equity concepts were considered in modified CEAs by conducting an umbrella review of systematic literature reviews (SLR).
