that caused more than 270,000 women dies every year, where more than 85% from this deaths occur in low and middle income countries, including Indonesia. The low coverage of early detection for cervical cancer in Banten still very low, 2.44%. The aim of this community development was to provide education on cervical cancer, give information towards risk factors, symptoms and its prevention. The community development conducted through education preceded with advocacy. The result of Wilcoxon test showed a p-value 0.011 (p-value 0,05), meaning that education conducted to the community improved knowledge on cervical cancer. It is recommended to maintain sustainable health promotion by the cadres to improve their knowledge on cervical cancer and take preventive actions
