Abstract
Background: Choking is an emergency that can occur in children and requires immediate help. This activity aims to increase participants' knowledge and skills in carrying out first aid measures in cases of choking. Method: The partners in this activity are 53 PAUD mothers. The activity was carried out using a presentation using a choking management leaflet, then continued with a Heimlich maneuver simulation utilizing a child's phantom. Results: The participants' knowledge and skills increased, as indicated by their ability to answer questions from the presenter and demonstrate the Heimlich manouver correctly. Conclusion: Educational actions and Heimlich Maneuver simulations can improve participants' knowledge and skills in providing first aid for choking incidents in PAUD and Kindergarten children.
