Abstract

AbstractThe work investigates the introduction of digital technologies and digital tools into the educational process. The influence of digitalization on the problem field of higher education is noticeable, which can be considered not only from the positive side, but also from the point of view of the threats that digitalization brings to educational institutions, including higher education, as well as educational problems that express situations of uncertainty in changing the configuration of relations between the subjects of the new educational reality. The subject of the study is the possible directions of the development of higher education at the stage of expanding digitalization in society. The research purpose is to study the problematic processes in the transformation of higher education under the influence of the digital environment. Under the influence of the digitalization of society, the role of the teacher and the student is changing, the field of telecommunications technologies in the managerial and social spheres is expanding. It is necessary to calculate the possible negative consequences of increasing digitalization in the educational process of Russian universities.
