Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of practice of school principals in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman. And a study of whether there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) between the estimates of the study sample members due to the study variables, gender, and years of experience. To answer the study questions, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method. The study also used a questionnaire to collect information. The study population consisted of all teachers of North Al Sharqiyah Governorate for the academic year 2020/2021, who numbered (4,494) male and female teachers. The results showed that the degree of school principals' practice of educational leadership in the Governorate of North Al Sharqiyah in the Sultanate of Oman is very high. Above came the axis of school administration, then the axis of learning, and finally the axis of education. Its results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the average estimates of the study sample in the degree to which school principals practice educational leadership according to the gender variable in favour of males, and according to the variable years of experience in favour of the sample members who have experience of more than 10 years.
