Abstract

The research is an investigation about the administration of educational informatics in a public school in Pernambuco called Manoel Borba School. The chosen proceeding methodology was case analysis. An attempt has been made to identify the factors that have hampered the technologic assimilation and accommodation at the school, considering the hierarchy of administration, from the board of headmasters to Pernambuco state superintendency of information technology, in departament of education. The data analysis has brought out that the studied school the situation is quite negative towards technological assimilation and accommodation (A&A). It was verified the precariousness of the structures of technological administration, confirmed by some problematic characteristics, considered main factors that have made difficult the processes of technological A&A. Manoel Borba case testifies a reality that differs quite a lot from local and federal departments of education speeches.
