Abstract
Globalization is an integrative world economic policy that can improve theproductivity level of member nations and boost their general growth anddevelopment. Though it is has lots of limitations due to its backgroundidealology it is highly rewarding to member nations who strive to meet itsdemands. Most of these demands are centred on skilled manpower resources that must be productive enough for industrialization, commercialization, privatization etc. It is therefore, imperative that the educational sector of the nation be improved to meet its obligations. This paper reviewed some vital areas as necessary. Some of these areas were the National Policy on Education, Enabling laws funding, Facilities and Equipment, Salary structure, the place of teachers, international involvement and malpractices. Five recommendations were made.
