Abstract
Provision of quality education and its accountability is a challenge in developing economies. Present study performed an indirect accountability analysis through public satisfaction; using the nationally representative data of Pakistan. This study also identifies the behavioural determinants of public satisfaction for schooling services. The results of district satisfaction ranking show that majority of the districts with the highest satisfaction are from KPK, while the bottom 10 are from Baluchistan where enrolment rate is quiet low and other supply side indicators are also showing very low rank.
