Abstract

A data-centered study drawing information from the CIA World Factbook dataset on the topic of Education. Methods used include visualizations, correlation analysis and clustering. More than 30 factors are compared with educational indexes and almost all countries are clustered. The dichotomy between developing and developed countries appears repeating in findings creating the foundation for future classification applications through the use of educational data. Moreover, it is determined that hygiene and social factors are more correlated to education than economic ones.
