Abstract

The Women's Health Issues editorial team is extremely pleased to publish this special supplement on military women's health, which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense TriService Nursing Research Program and the Military Women's Health Consortium at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. The authors of the manuscripts in this special issue conducted scoping reviews to provide overviews of existing literature on topics important to military women's health—ranging from sleep to sexual and reproductive health topics—and they synthesized their findings within the framework of the social ecological model for military women's health (SEM-MWH), as described by Lori L.
