Abstract

The article discusses the growing recognition of ethics in business practices and education, highlighting opportunities for new research on the subject. The author states that research studies published by the Academy of Management are inadequate and that researchers may not be aware of the increased interest in the subject of ethics. The article discusses business ethics, including public perception of publicized scandals and the larger role it plays in business education.
