Abstract
This issue collects a selection of contribution presented at the International Conference on “Times of Polymers (TOP) and Composites” held on June 2016 at Ischia, Italy. The TOP Conference is a biennial event which brings together researchers from industry and academia working in the fields of chemistry, physics and engineering of polymer-based materials. The apparent heterogeneity of the audience is the real strength of the Conference that allowed the formation of a substantial community, as evidenced by the exponential growth in the number of delegates over the years. The heterogeneity of the Conference's contributions is reflected in this special issue where the selected papers are perfectly in line with the editorial mission of the Journal.
