Abstract
This conference issue presents 44 papers, which have been accepted so far after a thorough peer review process supported by a large number of reviewers and coordinated by eight Editors, to whom we owe a debt of thanks. These contributions come from a very broad range of fields of application, including astrophysics, medical imaging, nuclear and plasma physics, particle accelerators, and particle physics experiments.
