Abstract

The IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (IEEE MTT-S) Administrative Committee has approved the increase of voluntary page charge limit of this TRANSACTIONS from six pages to seven pages. With this change, the mandatory overlength page charge starts from the eighth page. This new seven-page voluntary page charge limit applies to all accepted papers posted on IEEE Xplore on or after August 1, 2014. Since this TRANSACTIONS is a rapid-post publication, the date of publication is determined by the date a paper is posted on IEEE Xplore, and not the date of the printed issue. The IEEE Periodicals Transactions/Journals Department has recently updated the IEEE Editorial Style Manual ([Online]. Available: http://www.ieee.org/documents/style_manual.pdf). Covering many important elements of a paper from the paper title to the references, this manual provides useful guidelines for authors. Many frequently made corrections such as acronyms and reference format are defined in this manual. In addition, this TRANSACTIONS' Information for Authors webpage ([Online]. Available: http://www.mtt.org/transactions/34-author-information- transactions.html) lists additional guidelines specific to this TRANSACTIONS. All authors are advised to read these online resources carefully when preparing manuscripts.
