Abstract

This special double issue of Journal of Music, Technology & Education (JMTE) explores issues such as online music education focusing on massive open online courses (MOOCs), advocacy style research, online jamming and network music performance. It also considers music, technology and education from the perspective of virtual worlds (including singing) and an interesting conference report from a conference concerning digital pedagogies.
