Abstract
The article presents a report from the editor regarding ongoing research in eye-tracking technology, brain wave analysis and cognitive theory as explored at the laboratory of scholar Chia-Ju Liu, based at the National Kaohsiung Normal University of Taiwan. Two experiments are described involving combined eye-tracking and electroencephalogram data collection on users reading text on a screen. Questions by the editor are also raised regarding the potential of such new research methodologies.
