Abstract
The 57th IEEE Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects Conference (NSREC) was held from November 29 to December 30, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference was conducted virtually, featuring live online interactions between conference attendees and recorded content from presenters. The live portions of the conference were held from November 29 to December 8, after which all content was made available for attendees on-demand. Despite these challenging circumstances, the conference was a resounding success. The 2020 NSREC was attended by 586 engineers, scientists, managers, students, and exhibitors. International participation was also quite strong, with 126 non-U.S. attendees from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Russia, South Africa, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
