Abstract

The faculty and resident interviews as well as resident applicant ‘socials’ have remained an important factor in program ranking. The COVID-19 pandemic changed the urology match process. The Virtual Interview (VI) replicated the direct person to person meeting. A plurality of applicants noted the interview process should remain virtual in a post-COVID-19 environment. Most significantly the virtual application cycle reduced the cost of applying to residency. 1 Carpinito GP Khouri Jr., RK Kenigsberg AP et al.
