Abstract

Midurethral slings are widely accepted as first line surgical treatment of female stress urinary incontinence. Especially the transobturator route, which is associated with more favorable operation and admission times and fewer complications in comparison to the previous gold standards, like the open and laparoscopic colposuspension.
