Abstract

The authors revisit infrequently used procedures to treat post-renal transplantation ureteral obstruction by retrograde pyelography with stent placement. These investigators propose these treatments as viable alternatives to percutaneous allograft nephrostomy (PCN) and antegrade stenting. The latter procedures have become the reference standard for the treatment of ureteral obstruction.
