Abstract

Multiple previous authors have noted the association between high end filling detrusor pressures, detrusor overactivity, decreased bladder compliance/capacity, or high voiding pressures coexisting with high-grade reflux. Some have hypothesized that these patterns represent a developmental stage of normal bladder control and will resolve with time.
