Abstract
Every well-planned lesson in mathematics contains three essential ingredients. These ingred ients are goals, processes or methods of instruction, and evaluation. The teaming process is defined in terms of these three aspects. and the properly constructed curriculum must include them. This issue of The Arithmetic Teacher focuses attention on the classroom teaching-learning process, high lighting the three ingredients noted above.
