Abstract
The theme section comes from Japan with Dr. Ken Nollet as the Guest Editor. This is a very interesting compilation of papers with a particular emphasis on issues relating to developing programs and situations. Some of this undoubtedly results from the March, 2011 disaster caused by a 9.0 magnitude earthquake off the Pacific coast of Tohoku, Japan. The disaster came very close to Dr. Nollet’s Fukushima Medical University, which is located only 57km from the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant. Readers will recall that the disaster response provided by FMU Hospital was described by Dr.
