Abstract
Abstract Some issues regarding editorial techniques and stemmatic theory are raised and discussed by using the textual tradition of Greek and Byzantine technical treatises as sources for examples and case-studies. I shall show that the stemmatic method is both perfectly sound and elastic enough to be able to cope with most textual traditions of technical texts.
