Abstract

Eyes tend to be a mystery to many non-specialists, particularly given the minimal exposure to ophthalmology at medical school. Eye problems are common, however, and a basic knowledge of ophthalmology is useful in many settings. This course aims to give a practical introduction to the assessment and management of common eye problems. The course is aimed primarily at doctors preparing for their first job in ophthalmology, but it is useful for all non-specialists who deal with eye problems on a regular basis.
