Abstract

This paper suggests a novel hybrid adaptive edge detection algorithm. The proposed hybrid adaptive edge detection algorithm has the least PSNR (dB) and highest MSE, which indicates that as a better edge detection algorithm than the existing non-learning edge detection algorithms. Since, kernel convolution and thresholding are only involved in this hybrid edge detection algorithm where it becomes comparatively faster than the conventional non-learning edge detection operators.
