Abstract
In this work I set forth some significant aspects of Aristotelian Ethics which are present in Ortega’s work, analysing in which way they are assimilated, criticized, updated, and transformed by Ortega according to his own thought. Among these aspects are the consideration of action as criterion of morality, the defense of an ethics of unselfishness, the recognition of magnanimity as a fundamental virtue, the statement of own improvement as behavior norm, and the conception of happiness as end of human life.
