Abstract

Feeding habits of the hatchery bullfrogs were determined by stomach analysis of frogs shot with a .22 caliber rifle. We attempted to collect equal weekly samples from the goldfish and the minnow ponds from May 1972 through June 1973. The stomachs of 1,365 adult bullfrogs were examined. Rocks, leaves, etc., were not counted as it was assumed they were taken inadvertently along with food.
