Abstract

The origins of the current bull market can be traced to structural changes for the good taking place in the United States. These structural changes in demographics, corporate management, fiscal policy, and inflation have led to a sustained slow-growth economy that has fueled various sectors and affected both domestic and international markets. This presentation comes from the Economic Analysis for Investment Professionals conference held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on November 19, 1996.
