Abstract

The economic load dispatch is a typical multiconstrained nonlinear programming problem. The traditional economic load dispatch does not take into account the environmental compensation factors such as NO2, SO2, and CO2. On the basis of traditional economic load dispatch and considering the environmental factors, the economic emission load dispatch model is found and the proposed bacterial colony chemo-taxis algorithm (BCCA) is applied for multiobjective optimization problem of economic emission load dispatch. Simulation results show that the power generation of units is rationally allocated through this method considering the environment factors, and the convergence speed is higher and the application is wider.
