Abstract

The purpose of the article is to identify the economic damage caused by the 44-day Armenian-Azerbaijani war (from September 27 to November 9, 2020), as well as to outline the priority measures aimed to stabilize the socio-economic situation in the Republic of Artsakh. The authors present the content of the main measures to recover the economy of the Republic of Artsakh, which are being carried out at this point in time and aimed at ensuring normal life. They also summarize the efforts made by the governments of the Republic of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia in this direction. As a result of the study, the authors come to the conclusion that the priority tasks for improving the socio-economic situation in Artsakh are ensuring the safety of the population, resolving the issue of the status of the Republic of Artsakh, improving the moral and psychological atmosphere in the republic, as well as deepening and developing economic relations between the Republic of Artsakh and Republic of Armenia through the transition from programs of support and assistance to individuals and organizations to long-term programs for the development of the country.
