Abstract

Successes realized in carrying out the economic reform in industry attest to the fruitfulness of the changeover to economic methods of management, consistently implemented by the decisions of the CPSU beginning with the October (1964), March, and September (1965) Plenums of the Central Committee and the 23 rd Party Congress. At the same time, to a considerable extent, the difficulties that have arisen in the course of the reform result from the fact that in a number of cases there is bureaucratic administration and the economic interests of the enterprises are ignored.
