Abstract

Based on the energy storage system, users can adjust the electricity load and participate in demand response while meeting their own energy demand. With the gradual advancement of power system reform, the potential benefits of ice storage technology application are increasing. Traditional methods for analyzing the economics of ice storage air conditioning systems tend to calculate and analyze the economic evaluation index of the system with fixed construction and operation strategies. Under the changing market environment and air conditioning load, it is difficult to accurately reflect the application value of ice storage technology. Therefore, this paper investigates a new economic analysis method that takes into account the collaborative optimization of the operation and planning of ice storage and cooling air conditioning systems. The method proposed in this paper takes the maximization of economic efficiency as the optimization objective and constructs constraints on the system operation strategy and investment plan. Finally, we build a mixed integer linear programming model which can be efficiently solved by a commercial solver. The numerical analysis takes Chongqing region as an example and analyzes the economic value of investing in an ice storage cooling air conditioning system under the local electricity price policy and air conditioning load characteristics.
