Abstract

Comparative analysis, in the light of statistical evolution indicators that characterize the innovative activity of SMEs in Bucharest, aims to outline the companies situation, over a period of almost 20 years. Analysis in dynamics, with the latest available indicators data, concerns not only the situation at the Bucharest municipality level at a certain time, but also the comparison with similar SMEs indicators with research and development-innovation (RDI) activity in Romania. Econometric approaches pursue the goal of developing appropriate models for this period and of producing short-term predictions, and the criteria for choosing the prediction accuracy, they allow us to draw pertinent conclusions.
