Abstract

Throughout the months of June, July and August, 1934, a field party composed of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Holcomb, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Whitaker and the writer, collected vertebrate animals in several localities of LeFlore and McCurtain Counties in southeastern Oklahoma (Fig. 1). More than 2,000 amphibians and reptiles, 20 gallons of fish and several hundred mammals were taken. This paper deals with the amphibians and reptiles. Mr. Whitaker plans to publish on the mammals in the near future.
