Abstract

The article presents an analysis of key eco-social indicators of the Republic of Belarus for the period from 2010 to 2022. Positive and negative trends in the ecological and social development of the country are outlined. The primary ecological and social factors influencing the development of the "green" economy in the country are identified and systematized. It is emphasized that unresolved issues in the ecological and social spheres pose significant challenges to the sustainable development of the country. The relevance and priority of evaluating the ecological and social components in transitioning to a new model of economic growth are justified. Systematized ecological and social factors negatively impacting the sustainable development of the "green" economy in the republic are presented.
