Abstract

The study presents data on the annual transport of 72 elements through evapotranspiration calculated for two mid-elevation mountain landscapes of the Northern Urals. It was found that the main characteristics of element transport in the mountain-taiga and subalpine belts are controlled by combined ecological and geochemical factors. A mechanism is described for changes in some environmental parameters through the air-borne migration of evapotranspiration products.
