Abstract

In this research, a novel NCP@SiO3PrNHPrSiO3TiO2 nano catalyst has been designed, synthesized and fully characterized using various analytical techniques such as; XRD, FT-IR, SEM, EDS, BET and TG analyses. The catalytic activity of NCP@SiO3PrNHPrSiO3TiO2 was also employed for the synthesis of tri-substituted imidazoles via three-component condensation reactions of aldehydes, benzyl and NH4OAc under solvent-free conditions. This synthesis features environmentally benign, short reaction time, efficiency, and feasibility of large-scale synthesis compared to classical reactions.
