Abstract
The development of nanoparticles (NPs) for biomedical and pharmaceutical applications is in high demand in the field of science and technology, due to their potential inhibition against pathogens. The eco-friendly green methodology is used for the synthesis of lanthanum oxide (La2O3) Nps using Eucalyptus globulus (E. globulus) leaf extracts. X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and selected area electron diffraction (SAED) studies reveal the formation of hexagonal structured La2O3 NPs. The vibrational modes of La2O3 were analyzed using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) analysis. The Ultraviolet–visible (UV–Vis) analysis revealed the optical absorption of La2O3 with a cutoff wavelength of 290 nm. The particle distribution and surface nature were confirmed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM) analysis with an average particle size of 50.37 nm. The main aim of this study is to control various inflammations and diabetic diseases using La2O3 as a potential inhibiting drug.
